I am back home and am able to take my time and go through my pictures. Since I didn't post many shots from Nice back when we were there I will post some now. Nice is where we first met Sandra and her red polka-dot umbrella.
Can't leave out the "creepy guys" towering over the Place Masséna (the pedestrianised Italianate central square).
Mounted on 10-meter poles are seven seated male figures made from white fiberglass. They represent the 7 continents. At sundown, the “Buddhas,” as the Niçois affectionately call them, slowly change colors, individually—emerald, fuchsia, deep blue, day-glo orange—as if they are having a metaphysical chat.
The setting, weather, food, drink and company were most enjoyable.
Both nights our group took over the lobby of our hotel.
