Beggar's Chicken and Peking Duck
Dinner last night included the very famous Beggar's Chicken which is wrapped in lotus leaves and mud and then baked for hours. The breaking of the mud is part of the experience and this restaurant actually has a golden hammer for the event.
After the chicken we were served Peking Duck and many other delicious Chinese dishes.
During the meal we were also entertained by a chef hand pulling Chinese noodles.
The hosts of the dinner (pictured above with the duck) were very gracious to treat me and several work colleagues to this very delicious meal and fun evening in HK

Hi Kari - Great blog and nice pics. Can you find out the name of this restaurant? I've been wanting to go some place where they hand pull the noodles. Enjoy the rest of your trip! --Donna
