St-Paul-de-Vence

On our way back to Nice from Monaco we stopped in St-Paul-de-Vence. One of my work colleagues highly recommended a stop there and I was able to persuade our guide to make the stop for our group. It was well worth it as it has beautiful stone streets and medieval buildings. It has been a place that many famous artists have visited and the Colombe d'Or is a hotel where early patrons like Picasso, Signac, and Collette paid for their room and meals with paintings, resulting in a priceless private collection.
This is the view of Nice and the coast from St-Paul.

Monaco and Monte Carlo

This morning we drove from Nice to Monaco along the Mediterranean coast.
The casino designed by Charles Garnier was beautiful.
All the fancy cars were nice to look at, too.
My lunch today was a chocolat crepe and a local beer.

Bonjour from Nice

We arrived in Nice yesterday after a long day of traveling. Today we are off to Monte Carlo and St-Paul-de-Venice.

More to the Story...

After Scott's run in with the "washing machine" he spent time with the scouts. Not sure if it was a good or bad thing he was in a wheel chair.
