Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year's celebration.

Looking to 2009

Back in 1999 I first saw the festive New Year's eyewear when in NYC and a street peddler tried his best to pursuade me to buy a pair. Little did I know that they would be the most popular thing at the New Year's Eve party to welcome in the Y2K..

Here are the gracious hosts of the annual New Year's Eve party sporting their Y2K eyewear.

The next year Y2K-1 glasses were not as easy to purchase so we had to improvise.

Over the years I think the old 2000 glasses have been lost or misplaced, so to keep the tradition and in honor of 2009 I have attached a template for any of you to open, printout, cut out, decorate and wear to ring in the new year! Too bad they don't help you see into the future.

Here are Claude and Teddy wearing their 2008 glasses -they made them from last year's template.

Stick & Puck and Drop-In

Ice Sports claims on their website that there is stick and puck tonight @ 7:10pm and Drop-In on Monday 6:50pm to 8:20pm.

I cannot make it tonight but am hoping to make the drop in on Monday. Always call the rink to confirm before driving out there @ 913-441-3033 (unless you live next door like the Knights).

Cougar Day

Chris, I missed seeing you at Michael's yesterday - maybe you were back at Hobby Lobby for their "Cougar Day".

PB&G Holiday Party

We had a very festive gathering after our game Sunday. The pelt makes a nice tree skirt for the tree we "borrowed" from the snack bar decorations. Thanks to everyone for bringing refreshments.

We had a gift exchange and Big Jim didn't get to keep this one....

...or this one...

...or this one, either.

He finally ended up with this lovely gift.

Family and friends joined us.

Was this before or after the "jar" video?

Chris got a gift that keeps on giving.

Too bad Scott wasn't there - he would have enjoyed this plug/stopper.

The heck with New Year's Eve parties, I am staying home and watching "Old School".

Charlie ended up with the flask filled with Crown - bastard!

WTF? You look like a couple of "lords of leaping"?

Have a safe and happy holidays from the PB&G!

Game Tonight @ 6:10pm

Game tonight and then the annual HO-HO-HO party afterward in the PB&G. We have the party room reserved for the party and everyone is to bring a wrapped gift worth $10 for a gift exchange/Chinese aution.

You know your gay when...

...you are seen by your teammate at the local Hobby Lobby shopping for "stocking stuffers"? Oh, and also by getting hip checked by a girl.

Game Sunday night at 7:30pm against the Free Agents.

The weather is supposed to be very cold Sunday night so we will take the PB&G inside. Bring your crock pots and extension cords.

Tiger Pelt Jersey

What a "hot" jersey. This goalie plays for the SC Langnau Tigers, a professional hockey team from Langnau im Emmental, Switzerland.

Worst Hockey Jersey

This dude is sporting what Google calls the "worst hockey jersey ever". Paul's pimp hat goes nice with it, though.

Pimp Hat Envy

Is this hat better?

Game Tonight @ 7:30pm

Paul wanted a hat with a feather - Kind of looks like Jed Clampet.
Be careful for what you wish for, especially this close to Christmas.
Tonight's game is at 7:30pm against the Fort. Payment for the new session is due tonight, too. The PB&G will be open after the game -wings and chili are on the menu - bring your pelts to keep warm outside around the grill.

Smithville Parties

Thanks Paul for bringing the Rotel for the PB&G this past Sunday. You will definitely be invited to the next Smithville party - as long as you follow their dress code.

Welcome to RuPaul!

We have a new player joining us for the new session - RuPaul. Joel will be coming back full time, too.

New Session Starts Dec 7th

The full schedule is available as an attachment on the 46Hockey site - it will only download a copy of the Word file to your computer.
