My initial reaction to McCain's choice for his VP was "WTF?" - "Who the F*%k is Sarah Palin?" 
Well, it turns out she is a hockey mom from Alaska who looks like Tina Fey - who also loves guns and pelts. Oh yeah, she is the governor of Alaska and she is shown here sitting on her office couch, adorned with a massive grizzly bear pelt.
The new roof looks good - and all done in one day.

It’s actually a Dutch game called ‘knotsbal’. Its played with 2 teams with 4 players each, and they both try to score with a rather small ball using sticks with foamrubber ends. Because these sticks look like tampons on sticks, it is called ‘tamponhockey’. 
The young and tiny Chinese gymnasts are showing off their medals while they both can fit into the pelt at the same time.
I am going to have to get one of these guys. My neighbors' giant weed died and they at least cut it down...but then left a pile of rotting plant matter in the cul-de-sac. So, here's a big "FU" to the neighbors!
Two hikers claimed that they found the body of Bigfoot in Georgia, but it has been determined that the discovery was a hoax - It just turned out to be Petrak in the pelt.

The summer session concluded last night and it was fitting that our two teams played against each other. I had just gotten back from a trip to Michigan and couldn't make it to the rink for game time - but was there with the pelt in time for a team picture.
The Pelt Bar & Grill was up and running after the game last night at Adrian's house.

My neighbors have a volunteer squash plant growing out of a pile of brush that they failed to clean up earlier this summer. It is basically a huge weed coming out of a pile of garbage - and the crazy thing is that they are so proud of it. They have quit cutting the grass around it and soon it will be taking over the cul-de-sac.
I am at my cousin's house and it is the final leg of wonderful trip around Lake Michigan.
I was enjoying a cocktail with my cousin on her deck when a vintage Chris*Craft boat pulled up to the dock. They first asked was I wearing a coon skin cap? and then asked if this was my cousin's dock/house. (The important questions come first.)
It turns out that the people on the boat were friends of my cousin out for an evening cruise - but were totally intrigued by the "pelt" hat. It is something that the kids got on a trip to Canada and I thought was fun.
I am taking off today to meet up with my cousins for a road trip around Lake Michigan. Most of the time we will be in the state of Michigan, home of Kid Rock (shown above sporting a nice pelt). I am sure while on this trip I will be seeing a wide variety of pelts along with a vast assortment of mullets.
Or could it be that guys with pelts are attracted to chicks with Bikinis - more like Baywatch meets Dukes of Hazzard.
Is that Timmy back there? With the john so close there is less chance for accidents, other than ruining Granny's birthday picture.
Alec, my nephew is in the Music Man which is playing out at Starlight for the next few weeks. He is in the children's chorus and is thrilled to be in the show.
Things were hopping at the Pelt Bar & Grill last Sunday night. This Sunday I will be out of town so it will up to my team mates to keep the bar open.
Joel wears the pelt so well.
